Restaurants often struggle to keep up with customer inquiries and orders on WhatsApp. Staff have to manually respond, confirm details, and enter orders into their system, which slows down service and makes handling multiple conversations difficult.
Solution Overview
I built a WhatsApp AI Agent using n8n that automates customer engagement and order management. The agent instantly replies to customers, processes orders, and sends them directly into the restaurant’s POS or system reducing workload and improving response times.
Detailed Steps
- Instant Replies: The agent responds immediately to customer messages on WhatsApp.
- Order Automation: It takes and confirms food orders without staff intervention.
- Multi-Chat Handling: The agent manages several customer conversations at the same time.
- POS Integration: Confirmed orders are sent directly into the restaurant’s system or POS for processing.
Result
The client (FASTA GROUP) now has a fully automated WhatsApp ordering system that saves staff hours of repetitive work while delivering faster service and smoother customer experiences.
