Client Challenge

The client manages over 20 Pinterest accounts and needed a solution to automate regular content posting. The challenge was ensuring posts were categorized correctly without manual effort. The process was overwhelming, especially when updating content from a Google Sheet and managing multiple categories across Pinterest.

Solution Overview

I built an automation that pulls content from a Google Sheet, uses ChatGPT to detect the category of each post, and manages category organization in Airtable.

Detailed Steps

• Category Detection with ChatGPT: Whenever new content is added to the Google Sheet, ChatGPT detects the post’s category.
• Airtable Integration:
  • If the category already exists in Airtable, the automation assigns the post to the existing category.
  • If the category doesn’t exist, the automation creates a new category board in Airtable.
• Pinterest Posting: The categorized content is then posted automatically to the relevant Pinterest accounts.

ResultThe client saved hours of manual work, maintained organized content across all accounts, and ensured posts were categorized accurately. This resulted in a more efficient workflow and consistent content posting on Pinterest.
