Client Challenge
A wildlife photographer friend struggled with the tedious task of sorting hundreds of images after each trip. Manually categorizing photos into folders consumed valuable time that could have been spent capturing or editing new work.

Solution Overview
I built an automation using n8n, Google Drive API, and Gemini LLM to fully automate the image classification process. The system recognizes animal types in each photo, creates organized folders, and sorts images hands-free.

Detailed Steps

• Image Retrieval: The workflow scans Google Drive for newly uploaded images.
• AI Classification: Gemini LLM analyzes each image and identifies the animal type.
• Folder Creation: The automation creates new folders dynamically for each detected category.
• Sorting & Organizing: Images are automatically moved into their respective folders, keeping everything structured.

Result
The client now has a fully automated image-sorting system, turning a once time-consuming task into a seamless background process. This gives him more time to focus on photography, while ensuring his collection stays neatly organized.
